Parma chief officer Luca Baraldi has denied that Alberto Gilardino’s move to Milan is a done deal.

The electric 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Milan following his impressive efforst for a strruggling Parma side last season. Gilardino scored 24 league goals, including the strike which secured their Serie A status in the play-off game against Bologna.

However, Baraldi has left the door open to other suitors.

“It’s not possible that tomorrow we would be able to define everything about Gilardino,” said Baraldi.

“Milan are interested in the player, so are other clubs.”
