Fulham and Paris Saint Germain look set to engage in a head-on battle to sign Auxerre forward Olivier Kapo.
The French international is available for a free transfer at the end of the season after rejecting a new contract at Stade Abbe-Deschamps.
Fulham look favorites to sign Kapo, who is keen to play in England. But PSG have a long-standing interest in the player and could persuade him to stay in France.
Auxerre are now desperate to off-load the striker in January instead of letting him leave on a free transfer.
