Rangers have signed full back Olivier Bernard on a two-year deal.

The Frenchman was allowed to move after the transfer window closed because he has been a free agent since being released by Southampton in the summer.

Rangers want Bernard to replace Michael Ball, who joined PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old was unable to prevent Southampton from slipping out of The Premiership after joining from Newcastle United in January.
