Claudio Ranieri has delivered his biggest hint yet that he is leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.

Ranieri was asked by the BBC if winning the Champions League would keep him in a job, but he replied: “No, I think not because my destiny is already decided”

Of his successor, the Italian noted: “I know who it is, just like you.”

Although Ranieri refused to name the person he thinks will succeed him, most observers are now tipping Porto coach Joe Mourinho to be the next Stamford Bridge coach.

Ranieri admitted he would like to stay in England when he leaves Chelsea.

“I live very well in England and the Premiership is a very good league,’ he said.

‘I feel like a European manager and for me it would be a very good thing to stay in England.
