Promising young French midfielder Franck Ribery is going nowehere, Marseille sports director Jose Anigo has declared.
“Franck can’t be transferred, neither during the winter transfer window nor at the end of the season,” Anigo told reporters.
“If we want to build a great team in Marseille, we must not sell our best players. We need Franck.”
Several clubs have expressed an interest in the 22-year-old Ribery, who has been touted as the next Zinedine Zidane.
