Robinho has cast doubt over his Manchester City future by admitting he would relish the chance to play for Barcelona.

The Brazilian left the Primera Division last summer, joining City from Real Madrid for a British record fee of £32.5million.

“So far, there have only been speculations,” he told Sport when asked about reports linking him with a move to Camp Nou. “There is nothing concrete and I haven’t received any offers.

“The only thing I can say is that Barcelona are a great team and everybody would love to play for them.”

Robinho did, however, insist he remains ‘comfortable’ with his decision to swap Madrid for Manchester.

He said: “I left because I was not happy. I do not regret the decision and I’m comfortable at Manchester City.”
