Blackburn Rovers’ midfielder Tugay Kerimoglu says he would be interested in a move to Besiktas following speculation that the Turkish club are interested in signing him in January.

“If an offer comes then why not?” the 34-year-old told Lig TV channel.

“Nobody wants to play football any more (at Blackburn). The manager (Graeme Souness) left and that’s how it is now. Now, I’m looking for new alternatives,” Tugay said.

“Receiving an offer from Besiktas would be a source of pride but there is no offer at the moment. If there is an offer and I agree with my club I would gladly play.

“I would go to whichever club wants me. That could be Galatasaray, Besiktas or Fenerbahce,” he said.
