Internazionale striker Christian Vieri has dismissed reports suggesting he wishes to quit the club, claiming he is happy to see out hios contract at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Vieri, who has come in for sustained verbal abuse from the Inter faithful this season, insists he has not even considered a move.

“Every day these things (rumours) are printed but I don’t consider them,” commented Vieri.

“I have a contract with Inter that expires in 2006. At the end of the season, I will talk with Moratti then we will see.

“I feel really good here and I’ve never thought about leaving.”

Meanwhile, Inter president Giacinto Facchetti has confirmed that underfire coach, Alberto Zaccheroni, will remain in charge next season.

“Zaccheroni has worked in a good way,’ Facchetti said.

“He has had problems due to injuries and dismissals but his future has never been put under discussion.

“He’ll be confirmed (for next season). My intention is to confirm the coach and the group of players so we can build a big group.”
