Siena docked a point for late payment

Serie B club Pescara received the same punishment after they also failed to meet the July deadline imposed on clubs.

Siena president Paolo De Luca was handed a three month suspension from the game by the Italian Football League’s disciplinary commission.

“This is a shocking decision and although it is demoralising, we will be appealing,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport’s Web site.
