Valencia are being threatened with legal action by DC Comics because the club intends to alter its bat crest to a design that may be confused with the Batman logo.
Batman creators DC Comics has reportedly filed a complaint with the OHIC – the European Union’s trademark registration body – about a new variation of Valencia’s logo.
One pertinent fact the judge may consider: Valencia have been in existence since 1919; Batman since 1939.
