This list is overall pretty good. Casillas Is a good starting keeper, although I think I would start Jor Hart. As for defense, I am astounded that Thiago Silva did not make the starting line-up. If you know football well, you know that he is easily the greatest defender at this time. In the mid field, all of these choices are good. However, I would’ve suggested the addition of a more attacking center. Such as Yaya Toure, Eden Hazard, or Juan Mata. I also think that picking Falcao is a stretch. I think Robin Van Persie or Didier Drogba would have been a wiser selection.

It’s ridicoulous. Why CR has more votes than Messi in WS XI, but Messi wins the WS? ¿Pur qué?

  • javimgol

    Total nonsense-

Why is Xavi, who lost La Liga, lost in Champions, lost Super Copa, did a pretty bad season,
an was one of the worst players of Spain in the Euro (except in the Final) here?

And why Xabi Alonso, who won La Liga reachinga 100 point record with Real Madrid, was one of the TOP 3 players of Real Madrid last season, and was one of the best players of Spain (TOP 3 at least again) isn’t in the list?
