Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 300th goal for Real Madrid in a 2-0 La Liga victory at neighbours Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.
The prolific forward, with 37 goals already this season, is the third player after Raul (323) and Alfredo Di Stefano (307) to reach 300 goals for Real.
His strike rate, though, is astonishing. Whereas Di Stefano required 396 matches to reach the milestone and Raul 741, Ronaldo has reached 300 in just 288 matches.
His great rival, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, took 365 matches to hit the 300 mark for his club.
