Manchester City midfielder Paul Bosvelt has been been called up by Holland to replace Mark van Bommel at Euro 2004.
The PSV Eindhoven midfielder is suffering from an Achilles injury and is not expected to be fit for the finals, his club said in a statement Monday.
Holland play the Faroe Islands on Wednesdayand meet Ireland on Sunday in advance of the EURO 2004 finals.
