Cucuta's Marcos Lazaga evoked the spirit of Diego Maradona, when he used his hand to secure a vital point to earn his side a crucial point against promotion rivals Quindio.
“It was a rebound, I do not want to talk about those things, that you’re going to analyze. The important thing is to be promoted,” said Marcos Lazaga, after claiming several times he did not understand the question.
“It was a game where a win meant nothing and the important thing was that we drew and the players will continue to enjoy this promotion.”
Quizzed again about the blatant use of his hand, Lazaga replied: “Which hand, no no no, nor have I seen the goal, do not know if touched my hand…I mean I did not touch”.
Which makes him a liar as well as a cheat.
