France have omittted Thierry Henry from their squad for their forthcoming crucial World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Cyprus.

Henry, who has not played since France’s previous World Cup qualifier against Ireland,misses out with a groin injury.

Coach Raymond Domenech has recalled Auxerre’s Peguy Luyindula in his place. Zinedine Zidane, who is also carrying a groin problem, has been after being assured that the Real Madrid playmaker would be fit for the qualifiers.
