Brazilian midfielder Kleberson has confirmed that he is still keen on a move to the Premier League.

The World Cup winner had been linked with several English clubs, most notably Leeds and Newcastle but no deal materialised. But the Atletico Paranaense player remains hopeful of making the move to England.

‘It is a dream for me to play one day in England,’ he said in the Guardian.

‘I believe I am ready to take this challenge.’

Kleberson revealed that Arsenal’s Gilberto Silva has sold him on the English game.

‘He talks of how well contested the matches are in the Premier League,’ said Kleberson.

‘In Brazil the game is more based on individual skills. In England teams play quicker and with more tactical awareness.’
