Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson is to undergo knee surgery and will be out of action for six weeks.
“Larsson will be operated on tomorrow (Monday) and will be away from the game for six weeks,” club doctor Lluis Til told the Swedish daily Aftobladet’s website.
The 33-year-old former Celtic player was carried off after twisting his left knee in the second half of Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Real Madrid on Saturday.
