Former France and Cameroon national coach Henri Michel is too become the next manager of the Ivory Coast.
“It’s terrific to take charge of a team of this calibre. They’ve never qualified for the World Cup and that’s our aim,” he told l’Equipe.
Michel, 56, takes over from compatriot Robert Nouzaret who left last month to take charge of French first division club Montpellier.
Moroccan club side Raja Casablanca have agreed to release Michel.
