European champions Porto have made striker Luis Fabiano their sixth Brazilian squad member, after capturing the 23-year-old from Sao Paolo.The Portuguese club did not disclose the transfer fee and length of contract, though the fee is rumoured to be around £13.5 Million

The player, nicknamed “The Fabulous”, is the latest addition to a new look Porto side, who lost many of the stars from their triumphant European campaign, including Deco, Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira.

With 70m Euros at their disposal following these summer sales, Porto have strengthened throughout the squad.

Fabiano joins fellow new Brazilians Diego and Pepe, as well as a host of other reinforcements, including Greek Euro 2004 winning defender Yourkas Seitaridis, Striker Helder Postiga, and midfielder Hugo Leal.

After losing the European Super Cup to Valencia last week, Porto begin the defence of their domestic crown on September 12th.
