Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been handed a three-match ban by the Football Association.

Scholes was charged with violent conduct after pushing Middlesbrough’s Doriva in the face during a game in February. The England midfielder has decided not to appeal and therefore will be eligible for the FA Cup final against Millwall on May 22.

However, he will miss United’s next three Premiership games against Charlton, Liverpool and Blackburn.
