Leeds United have been hit by the news that they will be without midfielders player Seth Johnson and Eirik Bakke for the rest of the season.

The relegation-threatened Yorkshire side will be without Johnson for up to nine months with a ruptured cruciate ligament while Norwegian international Bakke has a torn thigh muscle.

Both injuries ccome as a hige blow to acting Leeds manager Eddie Gray

“Seth will be out for the long term,” Gray told the club’s official website. “I don’t think we will see Eirik this season either.

‘It’s a massive blow for him and for everyone involved with the club, but we have to get on with it. Injuries are a part of football and somehow we will have to cope without them.”
