Italy coach Giovanni Trapattoni has announced his squad to face the Czech Republic on Wednesday in Palermo.
To placate Italy’s bigger clubs, some of whom ahd criticised the timing of the friendly, Trapattoni has restricted his selections to a maximum of three from each team.
Three players have been given their first call-up: Sampdoria pair Stefano Bettarini and Sergio Volpi, as well as Parma’s Simone Baron
