Rangers have agreed a one-year deal with Manchester City’s Dutch goalkeeper Ronald Waterreus.

The 34-year-old is expected to make his debut in Wednesday’s League Cup semi-final against Dundee United at Hampden Park.

Waterreus joined City in August as cover for England’s David James but has made just two League Cup appearances for the Premier League side.

Klos suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage during training at Murray Park last week, and is likely to miss the rest of the season.
