While staying in Campinas, Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates will train at two nearby facilities, the Moises Lucarelli Stadium – home to one of Brazil’s oldest clubs, Ponte Preta – and also at the club’s recently upgraded training ground.

Their first group match, against Germany, is a one hour 47 minute flight away in Salvador, a distance of 887 miles.

They follow that with a match against USA, in the Amazon, in Manaus, a 2,343 mile journey and a flight time of three hours and 15 minutes.

Portugal’s final group game is in Brasilia, against Ghana. They have a relatively short journey of 496 miles for this game taking one hour by plane.
