Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been given a three-match ban forpunching an opponent in the stomach, ruling him out of the derby against Inter on April 3.
Ibrahimovic was given a straight red card for hitting Marco Rossi in the 73rd minute of Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Bari after the defender beat him to a header.
The league also banned Lazio defender Stefan Radu for three matches for headbutting Roma midfielder Fabio Simplicio toward the end of Sunday’s derby, which Roma won 2-0.
Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma was given a two-match ban for insulting the referee.
