Emmanuel Adebayor has ended weeks of speculation linking him with a move away from Arsenal by agreeing a new four-year contract with the Gunners.
The Togolese international had looked to be on his way out of Arsenal this summer, with Milan and Barcelona both courting the striker, who scored 24 league goals last season.
“Arsenal can today confirm that Emmanuel Adebayor has signed a new long-term contract with the club,” read a club statement. “Everyone at Arsenal looks forward to Emmanuel’s continued contribution to the club over the coming years.”
