Adriano has denied reports that he is set for a move to Chelsea, claiming he is keen to stay with Inter.

Reports in England suggested that Chelsea were willing to break the world transfer to sign the Brazilian, but he has instructed his agent to rebuff any offers.

“Real Madrid and Chelsea wanted to speak to me and find out if I was interested in joining them,” Adriano told www.gazzetta.it.

“I said to my agent Gilmar, I do not want to speak to them and I don’t want to break any contract.

“I never said if I don’t win anything I will ask to leave the club.

“I want to stay at Inter for as long as I can, I’m happy in Milan, here there are so many people who care about me.

“I believe money is not everything in my life and to be honest I’m not interested in money,” he continued.

“I believe a football player will not be satisfied until he wins some trophies.

“Certainly if next year we do not win anything Inter must understand my desire to look at somebody else.”

Adriano’s agent did admit that money may eventually talk.

“Chelsea? If Abramovich offered 100 million we would have to listen to it,” Rinaldi told Radio Radio.

“They have offered a lot of money and we have decided to stay.

“Our will for this year is not to move.”
