Giorgio Chiellini’s agent has denied that his client is set for a move to England, despite attending the Manchester derby on Tuesday.
Chiellini has confirmed that he was invited by both clubs to attend, whilst also admitting he is currently locked in talks with Tottenham.
Despite the talks, agent Davide Lippi says a move for the Juventus defender is not imminent.
“I was there but it was absolutely a courtesy visit,” Lippi told Sky Italia.
“I was invited by the two clubs and I was pleased to see a good match. The market is open all year, talking with everyone and everything, not just Chiellini.
“A real interest? It is normal when we talk about a very important player like Chiellini, but there is no news.
“There are many players that may interest Manchester City or United, today I was talking to the leaders of Tottenham.”
