England are now seven wins from seven in Group Six, so a win over Croatia in September will see Capello’s men heading to the World Cup 2010 in South Africa

Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from the club before the close of the transfer window.

Chelsea have been linked with a bid for the Argentina international as they look to make a big-name signing.

However, Aguero’s appearance for Atletico in their Champions League play-off against Panathinaikos may reduce his appeal to potential buyers as he he is now cup-tied for European competition.

Aguero, who scored in the 3-2 win over Panathinaikos, insists he always wanted to stay at Atletico.

“I’ve always said I wanted to stay at Atletico and this is what has happened,” said Aguero.

“I am very happy for the goal, but especially for the triumph.”
