Daniel Alves has confirmed that he is in talks with Sevilla over an new contract.
The 23-year-old was linked with a summer move to Liverpool, but he opted to stay in Spain.
Currently contracted to Sevilla until 2011, Alves says he is happy to sign a new deal at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan .
“It is true, I have started talks and I want a quick solution to close the subject as soon as possible,” he said of talks on a new deal.
“I believe that we will reach an accord and am not worried about it.
“I am happy at Sevilla because the club have always treated me sensationally.”
