Palermo have revealed that striker Amauri is close to completing a move to Juventus.
Juve have been pursuing the Brazilian-born striker for months and, according to Palermo president Maurizio Zamparni, a deal is now imminent
“He will join the Bianconeri, that is 98 per cent,” said Zamparni.
“It’s almost done – we are very close to completing.
“It isn’t so much up to Palermo, but Juve must finalise things with the player.”
Juve had been expected to offer players in exchange, but one who has turned down teh chance of a move to Palermo is forward Raffaele Palladino.
“He doesn’t want to come to Palermo,” Zamparini revealed. “He’s a bit like everyone else who doesn’t know the place and its beauty.”
