Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident his side can overturn their one-goal deficit when they travel to Camp Nou for the Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona on Wednesday.

Ancelotti and chief officer Adriano Galliani were speaking just before the the Milan team boarded the plane for Barcelona where they hope to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat from the opening leg.

Ludovic Giuly’s goal was enough to earn Barcelona a valuable away win at the San Siro, but Ancelotti is optimistic about Milan’s chances of reaching the final for the second successive season.

“We can do it, the team feels good,” said Ancelotti before flying to Spain.

“We will try to repeat the first leg match but with more attention to the minor details.

“There is still a possibility.”

Galliani added: “We will do everything possible. I feel a good air about it.

“It will certainly be a difficult match but we will attempt to recover the result.

“We will try until the end.”

Ancelotti received a boost on the eve of the game with the news that full-back Cafu and striker Filippo Inzaghi are both fit to play after missing the first leg through injury.

Alessandro Nesta, Massimo Ambrosini and Kaka remain concerns for the second leg in Camp Nou, although all three are in with a chance of being fit.
