Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti lavished praise on Barcelona’s Ronaldinho following his match-winning performance against them in the UEFA Champions League.
With the scores level at 1-1, the Brazilian outwitted Milan defender Nesta to contrive a stunning late winner against the Italian champions.
“This is what big players can do,” admitted Ancelotti.
“Barcelona played well. We started positively but suffered towards the end.
“We played against a well-balanced team but I don’t think the result has too big an impact. We will wait to qualify at home.
“Barcelona, in the end, deserved the result.
“If we had to lose a match it is good that it is this one.”
The result leaves both teams on course to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
