Serie A strugglers Ancona named Giovanni Galeone as their new coach on Tuesday.
Galeone, who previously coached Udinese, Perugia and Napoli in Serie A, replaces Nedo Sonetti, who was sacked on Monday following Ancona’s 5-0 defeat by Milan at the weekend.
Ancona have picked up just four points in the 14 games Sonetti was in charge and remain bottom of the league with five points from 18 matcheswith relegation looking ineviitable.
Galeone is Ancona’s fourth coach in seven months.
