Royal Antwerp have made five signings to help them stave off relegation from the Belgian first division.

Coach Marc Grosjean has brought in 18-year-old defender Phillip Bardsley and striker Edward Johnson on loan from Machester United.

22-year-old midfielder Faruk Atalay joins from Austrian side SV Pasching for the rest of the season and defender Liviu Ciobotariu and goalkeeper Angel Pinado arrive on free transfers from RAEC Mons and Atletico Madrid respectively.

Grosjean will be hoping the new blood can help to turn his side’s season around as they are currently bottom of the league, picking up just 12 points from their previous 19 games.
