Spain coach Luis Aragones has named a 20-man squad for his side’s Group F Euro 2008 qualifiers against Denmark and Iceland on March 24 and 28.

There is still no place for Real Madrid striker Raul, who had spoken optimistically earlier in the week about a recall to the national side. Aragaones has chosen to persevere with Valencia’s David Villa, Atletic’s Fernando Torres and Valencia striker Fernando Morientes up front.

The only changes on Friday came with the inclusion centre-backs Carlos Marchena and Juanito who will help provide cover for Carlos Puyol and Sergio Ramos who are both suspended for the Denmark match.

Spain have got off to a poor start in qualifying, winning one and losing two of their first three games.

They are in fifth place in Group F, nine points behind leaders Sweden and four adrift Denmark and Northern Ireland.
