With two players sent off, including one at half-time, and another arrested before the game, it's fair to say that Atletico Madrid were 'up' for the second leg of their Spanish Cup quarter-final tie against Barcelona.

Despite this drama, the most controversial incident of an action-packed evening at Vicente Calderon came when Atletico’s Turkish midfielder, Arda Turan, reacted badly when a decision didn’t go his way.

Fortunately, for the Turk, he missed his intended target, the linesman, but was still extemely lucky to get away with just a yellow card.

Incidentally, Barcelona won the game 3-2 and went through to the semi-finals 4-2 on aggregate.
