Sol Campbell and Freddie Ljungberg have been ruled out of Arsenal’s Champions League encounter with Juventus.

Campbell has recently returned to fitness after being out of action for two months but a training ground accident has led to him injuring a toe.

“Sol has a small setback following a bad tackle in training yesterday,” confirmed Wenger – who also revealed that Freddie Ljungberg would not be available.

“We think it will be 48 hours. It is just bad bruising on his toe, it is nothing major.

“I had planned to involve him on Tuesday night, but cannot do as he could not practice.

“Freddie Ljungberg also suffered a setback with his calf last week and won’t make it.”
