Authorities are considering lifting a ban on Ajax fans attending Feyenoord’s De Kuip stadium ahead of the Dutch Cup final between the two sides.
Ajax coach Martin Jol pleaded for a solution to be found after his players beat Go Ahead Eagles in Thursday’s semi-final, saying “our supporters have to be there.”
Fans from both clubs are prevented from traveling to away games. The ban was imposed last year following a string of violent encounters between Ajax and Feyenoord supporters.
The final between the Dutch league rivals will take place on April 25.
