Milan Baros is looking forward to facing Juventus on Tuesday, provided a foot injury does not keep him out if the tie.

Juventus travel to Anfield for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter final tie on Tuesday and Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez will be desperate for Baros to be fit to face the Italian club.

“I hope I will play,” said Baros.

“I haven’t trained for three days. I tried it only on Sunday, but it still hurts.

“I wouldn’t have played in the Bolton match due to my injury.”

Baros plans to discuss the game with Czech team-mate Pavel Nedved beforehand.

“I’m looking forward to the game. It would be great to win even if I don’t get a goal.

“Juventus are very strong opponents, of course we are the dark horse of this tie.

“They have only let in two goals in the whole Champions League.

“I will ask Nedved how the things are and so on. Of course, we will talk about our match.

“It surely won’t be a serious dialogue.”
