David Beckham says he is not concerned about being restricted to a place on the Real Madrid bench since the arrival of Jose Antonio Reyes from Arsenal.
“I can’t complain because I’m not in the starting line-up,” said Beckham. “There are lots of players on the bench in the same circumstances.
“I will have to adapt to the new situation and work hard to win coach Fabio Capello’s confidence.
“Reyes is a fantastic player and I can understand why he is playing.”
Capello hinted that Beckham may soon earn a starting spot after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.
“We have got a good squad of 20 players and there will be some changes in the next few games,” said the Italian.
