Israel defender Tal Ben Haim look set to leave Bolton Wanderers when his contract expires at the end of the season, his manager Sam Allardyce said.
“He won’t sign a contract now,” Allardyce told Bolton’s web site. “It is a great shame that is has gone beyond that now.”
Bolton could command a fee for Ben Haim if he was sold in the January transfer window, although Allardyce sees little chance of that happening.
“I don’t think he’ll move this month. He is likely to see out his contract and he’ll be off and away in the summer.
“As a player you can use the rules and regulations – and you can’t blame him for that.”
