Dimitar Berbatov’s agent is set to hold talks with Tottenham’s sporting director Damien Comolli on Monday.
The Bulgarian’s future at White Hart Lane has been the subject of speculation following the departure of Martin Jol with some reports claiming that Berbatov is becoming disillusioned with life at Spurs.
New Spurs boss Juande Ramos insists he wants to keep Berbatov even though the former Bayern Leverkusen striker was demoted to the bench for Saturday’s visit to Middlesbrough.
Berbatov’s representative Emil Dantchev has flown into London and will hold talks with Comolli over the player’s future
“I will have coffee with Damien and we will talk about Berbatov’s future,” Dantchev told the Daily Mail.
“I cannot and do not want to say any more.”
