Slaven Bilic has agreed to extend his contract as Croatia coach for two more years, according to reports.

The new deal will take the former Croatia defender up to the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.

Bilic will sign the contract on Friday, according to Vecernji List.

“The coach’s salary will have a fixed value but additional rewards will depend on his team’s successes,” national soccer federation (HNS) vice-president Ivan Brlekovic told the newspaper.

Bilic, who has been linked with several top European teams, previously said he wanted to stay with Croatia for two more years before moving to a foreign club.
