Czech Republic central defender Rene Bolf has been passed fit for Thursday’s Euro 2004 semi-final against Greece.

The news is a boost for Czech coach Karel Brueckner but there remains a doubt about the fitness of right back Martin Jiranek.

“Bolf is ready to play but there is still a question over Jiranek,” Brueckner told a news conference on Wednesday.

Jiranek injured a thigh muscle injury during Sunday’s 3-0 win over Denmark.
