Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the loan signing of Manchester City midfielder Vladimir Weiss until the end of the season.
The Slovakia winger becomes Owen Coyle’s first signing since he was appointed Bolton manager earlier this month.
The 20-year-old has only made four appearances for the first team this season.
“Vladimir is an exciting young player who adds further options to our squad and can help to get the fans out of their seats,” Coyle told the club’s website. “The fact that he has a chance of going to this year’s World Cup shows just how much ability he possesses.”
Weiss should feature in Bolton’s Premier League match against Burnley on Tuesday night.
