Recalled following a dispute between Milan and the Brazilian Football Confederation are Kaka, Cafu, Dida, as well as Lucio and Ze Roberto from Bayern Munich, who weren’t released by their clubs to play in the ‘game of peace’ in Haiti recently.

New Barcelona right-back Belleti was a surprise omission, but there was a place for Ajax wing-back Maxwell.

The squad in full for the games – firstly against Venezuela in Maracaibo, Venezuela (October 9th), then Colombia in Maceio, Brazil (October 13th) is as follows:

Squad:
Goalkeepers: Dida (Milan) and Júlio César (Flamengo)
