England full back Wayne Bridge has revealed his frustrations at Chelsea’s failure to capitalise on their rivals’ mistakes in recent weeks.

Despite having been seven points behind Manchester United after their home defeat to Liverpool two weeks ago the champions have slipped up twice in recent games and Bridge is convinced that Arsenal will do the same.

The former Southampton man reveals his side must start to take full advantage of such blips to stand a chance of taking the title.

“It just seems when other teams slip up, we don’t seem to take the opportunities, which we should be doing,’ said Bridge.

“It was very frustrating against Birmingham as they seemed to be time-wasting from the first minute. But take nothing away from them as they did well and got a good result.
