Gianluigi Buffon refuses to commit himself to Juventus, despite the club insisting they have no intention of selling.
Juve earned promotion back to Serie A at the first time of asking on Saturday, but rumours persist that the Italy keeper is unsettled at the club.
Buffon’s agent, Silvano Martina, claims the player wants to meet with the club before making any decision on his future.
“We will wait to talk with the club officials then we will see,” he told the Italian press.
“We have not been called yet, but I think we will meet soon. There has been a lot of speculation written about him, but the truth is that we will wait until we’ve spoken to Juve.
“After that, we will decide.”
Juve president Cobolli Gigli remains confident Buffon will stay at the club.
“We haven’t had any official offers,” he told Radio Rai.
“Buffon needs time to reflect, but he has stressed that he doesn’t consider playing in the Champions League to be essential.”
