Lyon centre back Claudio Cacapa will undergo knee surgery on Friday, the French champions have announced.
The Brazilian defender was hurt in a clash during Lyon’s 2-0 victory in Ligue 1 last Saturday.
“A scan revealed cartilage fragments in his right knee,” Lyon said on their official website.
